The V seven C7 compensator acts as a flash hider, muzzle break, and compensator. By doing so, felt recoil, muzzle rise, and flash are all mitigated very well. The metal treatment that is used case hardens the steel while also protecting it from corrosion. A standardized threat pitch of 1/2x28 is cut on the end of this barrel making this a usable muzzle device for most AR-15 owners (always check manufacturer's website if unsure on threading type).
