The SLR Titanium Synergy Mini Comp will turn different colors after you have shot projectiles through it. The 1/2x36, and 1/2x28 thread pitches are most common when it comes to 9mm barrels, make sure you choose the correct thread pitch. Make sure that you know what thread type your barrel is. The SLR Synergy Mini Comp is great for reducing muzzle rise and recoil on shorter AR15 & AR10 type rifles. If overall length is a concern, this compensator will fit the bill. However, this will NOT make your 14.5" barrel long enough to pin/weld. A crush washer is included to complete the installation.
