The Maxim Defense stock is very comfortable with the option of only adding approx. 5 1/2 inches to your rifle. This stock has four possible positions for you to choose from making it very versatile. The Maxim stock includes a custom 9mm version of JP's Silent Captured Spring which makes for an incredibly smooth recoil impulse due to the heavy weights and integrated spring. This also provides the benefit of less noise and different possible weight options, all with the same system. The Maxim stock has black nitride steel guide rods which lowers the amount of friction of the surface of the metal, making adjustments very smooth. The housing of this stock is made from 7075 aluminum making it very light, durable and strong. This stock has both a knurled collapse button and textured butt plate so it very easy to use when you need to, even with wet hands.
